From Athens’s sun‑soaked beaches to icy slalom gates, AJ Ginnis has carved his path like a modern-day Odysseus—minus the cyclops, but with plenty of knee surgeries. Born to a ski-school-owning dad on Mount Parnassus, he moved through Austria to refine his craft before storming U.S. prep‑school slopes and earning a Dartmouth degree. Undeterred by being dropped from Team USA and multiple ACL injuries, he switched to ski for Greece and made history—becoming the first Greek to podium in a World Cup and claim a World Championship silver.
